JOB SUMMARY SupplyTechisresponsible forpulling and delivering supplies to clean utilities and patient rooms on a schedule as assigned. Most supply areas use atwo binKanban system toensuresupplies are ordered and stored where they are used.Theyareresponsible forensuring thestorageareasareneat, tidy,stockedand fully functioning. They work withand support Blue Bin stage operationsteamin the warehouseand supportstriderteammoving supplies to specific locations.
These roles support supply chain standard work processes #3000, #3001 and #3002

Followstheempty Blue Bin returns processby pulling away all returns to original locations.
Demonstratesan understanding of how stage operation works and the Supply Tech1role in that operation.
Demonstrates teamwork/cooperation in providing services to direct/indirect customers
Keeps Supervisor and team leads informed of pertinent information related to job duties andthe completion of scheduled work, pulling theandonwhen assistance isrequired
Fostersanenvironment of PDCA in their daily work activities. Support of PEX activities and lean training
Meets productivity /work standards whiledemonstratingcompetency in job skills andknowledge by completing scheduled work in allottedtimeframe
Maintains required department confidentiality and abides by HIPPA regulations.
