Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors and staff.\nWhat the Pharmacy Technician will need:\nMinimum High school education or equivalent.\nPreferred Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program; or two years of college with emphasis in math, science, or medical field applications.\nMinimum Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan.\nPreferred Active status as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).\nMinimum Two years of pharmacy work experience.\nWhat the Pharmacy technician will do:\nPrepares, packages, and distributes medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.\nMaintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures.\nContributes to effective and quality operation of the department.\nMaintains logs, records, and other required files and documentation; answers telephone and pneumatic tube; and handles cash transactions.\nPrepares IV admixtures and other sterile products.\nHours of Work: 2pm-10:30pm\nOur Commitment\nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
