HVAC systems, alarms - Direct Digital Control, Emergency Generator Systems, Computer Monitoring Systems, Steam and Hot Water Boilers, Co-Generation plant, etc.) and any other duties as directed;\nEDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:\nHigh School graduate or recognized equivalent plus formal trade/vocational school training or five (5)years related experience. Completion of apprenticeship program preferred.\nParticipates in orientation and continuing education in order to maintain the knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.\nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to use standard hand tools, machinery and equipment plus precision measuring tools. Basic to advanced knowledge of Direct Digital Control systems and PLC based Plant Control Systems, Steam Boilers and/or Cogeneration systems and operations. Ability to read and interpret blue prints and to prepare material takeoffs. Basic to advanced code and regulatory knowledge. See Specific Performance Criteria section for additional information.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:\nIndustrial setting: Clinical setting occasionally. Exposure Class I. Routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions. Intermittent to regular exposure to unpleasant physical conditions, including but not limited to: high temperatures and general outdoor seasonal weather conditions. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
