Experience supporting physicians and/or advanced practice providers preferred. Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, provider scheduling, compensation administration, payroll processes, onboarding, and physician practice workflows required.\nPosition Summary:\nSt. Mary's Medical Group is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Practice Manager, Hospital-Based Services to provide dedicated operational and administrative leadership for employed hospital-based physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). This position serves as the primary administrative partner for multiple provider groups, including hospital medicine, neurohospital medicine, pathology, neonatology, and palliative care.\nThe Practice Manager will oversee provider scheduling coordination, PTO and leave administration, onboarding, recruitment support, compensation tracking, and operational issue resolution while serving as a key liaison between providers, physician leaders, hospital administration, human resources, payroll, finance, and revenue cycle teams. This role ensures providers receive consistent support and that employment, compensation, and operational processes are managed accurately and efficiently, allowing clinical leaders to focus on patient care and clinical operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvider Operations & Administrative Support\nServe as the primary administrative contact for employed hospital-based physicians and APPs.\nSupport providers with employment-related questions, requests, and operational concerns.\nCoordinate communication between providers, Medical Group leadership, and hospital departments.\nEnsure consistent application of organizational policies, procedures, and provider support processes.\nProvider Scheduling & Workforce Management\nPartner with physician leaders to coordinate provider schedules and coverage needs.\nManage and track PTO requests, leave requests, and provider availability.\nAssist with schedule modifications and coverage planning to ensure continuity of services.\nMaintain accurate provider scheduling records and documentation.\nCompensation Administration & Provider Productivity\nReconcile required shifts, completed shifts, additional shifts, and shift deficits.\nCoordinate compensation adjustments associated with shift-based compensation plans.\nCollaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate provider compensation.\nAssist with provider productivity reporting and compensation-related inquiries.\nRecruitment & Onboarding\nSupport physician and APP recruitment efforts, including interview coordination and candidate visits.\nCoordinate onboarding activities for new providers.\nFacilitate credentialing, payer enrollment, EMR access, IT access, and other onboarding requirements.\nMonitor onboarding progress and ensure completion of required tasks.\nFinancial & Operational Management\nPartner with finance and revenue cycle teams to address billing, productivity, and reimbursement concerns.\nTrack operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.\nSupport implementation of organizational and service line initiatives.\nProvider & Leadership Partnership\nServe as a key operational partner to physician leaders across hospital-based service lines.\nFacilitate resolution of operational issues affecting providers and patient care delivery.\nBuild collaborative relationships with providers, hospital leadership, and support departments.\nPromote a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.\nOur Commitment\nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
