Notifies supervisor of anticipated repair needs as appropriate.\nRecords accurate number of riders and trips throughout shift.\nUses a mobile phone to appropriately communicate with hospital employees and riders.\nAssists riders in entering and exiting shuttle vehicle.\nProvides courteous service and communicates effectively by providing hospital information and directions as requested.\nProvides support to the Guest Services department outside of shuttle transfers.\nRequired:\nValid Michigan driver’s license\n1-2 years driving experience\nClean driving record with the ability to meet hospital insurance requirements\nAbility to pass background check, drug screening, and health clearance as required by hospital policy\nKnowledge of basic vehicle safety and operation procedures\nAbility to follow schedules and work independently\nAbility to physically assist employees, patients and visitors into and out of a vehicle.\nMaintains satisfactory driving technique.\nPreferred:\nPrevious shuttle, bus, or commercial driving experience.\nKnowledge of local traffic patterns, arterial roads and navigating high traffic, urban environments.\nExperience providing customer service in a healthcare or public-facing environment.\nCPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent required.\nOur Commitment\nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
