A trusted health partner in our communities. \nWhat you will Do:\nFirstChoice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program! \nResponsibilities:\nThe CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging of patients. \nThe CT Technologist works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols. \nOperates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques. \nCollaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families. \nMinimum Qualifications: \nAssociate’s degree or higher required. \nEighteen (18) months of CT experience required. \nCompletion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). \nCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
