In this role, the intern will assist in developing and implementing artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and analytics solutions for various applications supporting Trinity’s pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. Projects may include generative AI, predictive analytics, forecasting, segmentation, patient finding, HCP targeting, and other advanced analytical solutions. Interns will work closely with our team of data scientists, consultants, and engineers to research, design, and implement cutting-edge AI and data science solutions.\nInterns develop their skills through undergoing extensive formal and informal training, as well as receiving mentorship that encourages them to stretch their skills in a real-world setting. This is a 9-week internship program based out of Trinity’s office in New York, NY - interns will be required to work in a hybrid work model, coming into the office about 2-3 days per week.\nThis is a 9-week, in-person summer internship and the program will run from mid-June 14 to mid-August 2027. Interns will be paid $35/hour and can expect to work 40 hours/week.\nApplicants for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Trinity is unable to consider candidates requiring sponsorship for visas, including but not limited to TN, H1-B, F-1, and STEM OPT.\nPosition Responsibilities\nAssist in developing and implementing AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions as part of projects for Trinity’s life sciences clients.\nConduct research to identify AI models, analytical approaches, tools, and implementation techniques suited for specific client and business use cases.\nAnalyze and evaluate the performance of AI models and solutions.\nTest and validate AI models and analytical approaches using real-world healthcare and life sciences data.\nCollaborate with team members to design and develop model enhancements, refinements, and proof-of-concept solutions.\nSupport the Data Science & AI team in developing materials for business-development activities, including AI-related proposals, pitches, solution overviews, and presentations.\nAssist in preparing technical reports, presentations, documentation, and other materials that clearly communicate analytical approaches and findings.\nPosition Requirements\nCandidates should be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program in computer science, data science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Trinity is targeting current Juniors, or students in a master’s program with 1 year left in their studies.\nRequired Skills\nStrong programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL).\nFamiliarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, and/or agentic frameworks.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nValue-Added Skills\nExperience developing AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions in an academic or corporate setting.
