Trinity is unable to consider candidates requiring sponsorship for visas, including but not limited to TN, H1-B, F-1, and STEM OPT.\nWe are hiring for this position in Trinity’s Waltham, MA or New York City, NY offices.\nTrinity is seeking motivated and intellectually curious Summer Associates passionate about the life sciences to join our Evidence Strategy team.\nThe Evidence Strategy team, part of Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access and Pricing (EVAP) group, supports biotech, pharma, and medical device clients with evidence planning, value demonstration, and scientific communication through real-world health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).\nIn this role, Summer Associates work on high-impact, real-world HEOR projects that “move the needle” on market access and treatment utilization and support medical education and strategic pricing. Examples include burden of illness studies, discrete choice experiments, claims-based analyses, economic modeling, targeted and systematic literature reviews, value story development, and value communication materials. Summer Associates can expect to further develop analytical, communication, and teamwork skills through hands-on experience, structured training and mentorship.\nThis is a 9-week, in-person summer internship. The program will run from June 15-August 13, 2027. Interns will be paid $35/hour and are expected to work 40 hours/week.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nAssist the team along all dimensions of project work in preparation for both internal and external interactions\nSupport study design, materials development and analysis for real world studies, both qualitative and/or quantitative, using primary and secondary data sources\nPrepare study materials for primary research, including protocols, screeners, and surveys for IRB/ERC submissions\nAssist in submission of all IRB/ECR materials\nSupport development of economic models\nSupport development of client-ready reports by organizing results, checking accuracy, and incorporating feedback\nSupport project teams across all phases of the project, including preparation of materials for internal team meetings and client-facing interactions\nPrepare and distribute detailed meeting notes from internal and external engagements\nDevelop PowerPoint slides that strategically synthesize learnings\nSupport targeted and systematic literature reviews, including development of search strategies, screening of publications, data extraction, and synthesis of findings.\nSupport development of evidence-based value stories and value communication materials by synthesizing clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence\nPosition Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Economics, Health / Life Sciences, Public Health, or Health Services\nMaster’s degree in a relevant discipline and /or an HEOR certification is a plus\nDemonstrated interest in the pharmaceutical / life sciences industry, health economics and outcomes research\nWork Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in consulting will be nice-to-have, or other relevant areas within the life sciences industry.\nOther Skills:\nDesire and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment \nEnthusiasm for working collaboratively across teams \nAbility to work on multiple projects concurrently and exercise sound judgement in prioritizing timely deliverables \nDemonstrated interest in developing advanced quantitative and analytical skills \nExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills \nFamiliarity with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint \nAbility to learn quickly on the job and exercise a flexible, growth mindset\nAbout Us\nTrinity powers the future of life sciences commercialization through the fusion of human and artificial intelligence.
