In this entry-level role, you'll have the opportunity to support our team by reviewing assigned General Ledger (GL) accounts and preparing journal entries with the guidance of our experienced staff. You'll also assist with monthly reconciliations, variance analysis, and the filing of miscellaneous taxes. Through listening and collaboration, we selflessly solve problems to create success. \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nAssist with month-end close processes, completing assigned close tasks accurately and on schedule\nPrepare and record journal entries for assigned GL accounts, for review and approval by senior staff\nPerform monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts and complete basic account analysis\nResearch account discrepancies and recommend corrections to senior staff\nPrepare and post recurring monthly accruals; assist with quarterly and annual accruals\nMaintain organized supporting documentation for journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities\nPrepare summaries of findings to be reviewed by senior staff\nSupport year-end financial audits, including gathering requested schedules and documentation\nAssist in preparing and filing Sales/Use, Gross Receipt, and other miscellaneous taxes\nParticipates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting or Finance\n2-3 years of accounting experience\nUnderstanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP), including debits/credits, accruals, and reconciliations\nFamiliarity with accounting software, such as NetSuite or SAP\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and other computer software and applications\nEagerness to learn, ask questions, and apply feedback from senior team members\nStrong attention to detail; accuracy is paramount\nAbility to remain calm and focused with prioritizing requests from multiple sources\nAbility to maintain and ensure confidentiality of team member and company information\nAbility to communicate clearly and precisely when relaying technical accounting and finance information\nAbility to travel (minimal, < 10%)\nCommitment to living Company Core Values.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThis job operates in a physical office environment.
