You support property upkeep, complete routine repairs, and build essential trade skills that prepare you for advancement within multifamily maintenance.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProperty Care & Basic Maintenance\nMaintain property grounds and common areas.\nComplete routine service requests and make-ready tasks.\nPerform paint touch-ups and minor repairs.\nReplace basic hardware, fixtures, screens, and outlets.\nOperational Support\nAssist with inspections and preventative maintenance.\nSupport seasonal preparation and storm response.\nMaintain clean work and storage areas.\nRespond to on-call and emergency service requests.\nSafety, Tools & Compliance\nFollow all company safety protocols.\nMaintain a basic personal tool kit.\nComplete required training and compliance courses.\nAdditional Duties\nThis role may include additional duties consistent with the position.\nHow You’ll Show Up\nProfessional and respectful with residents and teammates.\nEager to learn and develop trade skills.\nReliable, punctual, and safety-focused.\nResponsive to supervisor direction and feedback.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nExperience\n1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred).\nBeginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nSkills\nAbility to safely operate hand and basic power tools to complete minor repairs.\nUnderstanding chemical safety procedures.\nBasic computer and mobile literacy and familiarity with work-order systems.\nOther Requirements\nAvailability\nThis position will require availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.\nPhysical Demands\nThis position necessitates regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms. The role may require lifting to 50 pounds independently. The ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The team member must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
