Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.\nOverview:\nThe Staff Accountant is responsible for the financial and operational accounting for multiple apartment home communities, including financial statement preparation and account analysis. The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Controller.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nEnsuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for a large multi-family portfolio\nPreparing monthly bank reconciliations and resolving all discrepancies\nEnsuring all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures\nEnsuring all financial reporting deadlines are met\nEnsuring accurate and appropriate recording of revenues and expenses\nAssisting with year-end audits\nAssisting with additional projects as needed\nExperience/Education Requirements:\nMust hold a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance\n1-2 years accounting experience\nYardi experience preferred\nDetail-oriented and organized\nProficient user of Excel\nWe’ve Got You Covered!\n Medical, Dental & Vision. We offer a free PPO-HSA medical plan (with a $1,200 annual employer contribution) to all employees outside CA. In California, employees can choose between the free PPO-HSA and HMO plan. We cover 100% of the monthly premium costs for employee dental and vision. FSA & Dependent Care options are also available.\n Retirement Plans.
