The APM assists with project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, procurement, documentation, and quality control to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nProject Coordination\nAssist the Project Manager with daily management of concrete construction projects.\nCoordinate project activities with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.\nSupport project planning, scheduling, and execution efforts.\nMonitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.\nAttend project meetings and document meeting minutes and action items.\nBudgeting and Cost Control\nAssist in developing and maintaining project budgets.\nTrack project costs, labor hours, equipment usage, and material expenditures.\nReview invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor pay applications.\nSupport change order preparation and documentation.\nHelp prepare monthly cost reports and project forecasts.\nProcurement and Material Management\nCoordinate procurement of concrete materials, reinforcing steel, embeds, and related supplies.\nTrack material deliveries to ensure alignment with project schedules.\nCommunicate with suppliers to resolve delivery or pricing issues.\nMaintain procurement logs and project records.\nScheduling\nAssist with creating and updating project schedules.\nMonitor critical path activities and milestone completion dates.\nCoordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs with field operations.\nIdentify scheduling conflicts and communicate recommended solutions.\nContract Administration\nSupport contract review and compliance efforts.\nTrack submittals, requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and closeout documents.\nMaintain organized project files and documentation.\nEnsure project records are complete and current.\nQuality Control\nAssist with implementing project quality control processes.\nReview work to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.\nCoordinate inspections and testing activities.\nTrack corrective actions and punch list completion.\nSafety Compliance\nPromote a culture of safety throughout all project activities.\nSupport compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.\nParticipate in safety meetings and site inspections.\nReport and document safety incidents, concerns, and corrective actions.\nClient and Stakeholder Communication\nMaintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.\nRespond to client inquiries and project-related requests.\nProvide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 2-5 years of construction industry experience; concrete construction experience strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of cast-in-place concrete, foundations, slabs, elevated decks, tilt-wall, reinforced concrete structures, or related concrete systems.\nUnderstanding of construction scheduling and project management principles.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).\nExperience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar applications.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing commercial, industrial, municipal, or heavy civil concrete projects.\nOSHA 30-Hour Certification.\nFamiliarity with CPM scheduling.\nExperience with estimating, takeoffs, and quantity tracking.\nUnderstanding of concrete placement, reinforcing steel installation, formwork systems, and quality control testing.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to walk active construction sites, including uneven terrain.\nAbility to stand, bend, climb stairs, and occasionally climb ladders.\nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds periodically.\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather
