In this role, you will be at the heart of our production operations, driving plant performance, solving complex process issues and implementing sustainable improvements.\nYou will work closely with operators, production coordinators, maintenance, reliability and technology teams to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective plant operations while continuously improving quality and productivity.\nAs a Production Engineer, you will take ownership of plant performance, support daily operations and lead initiatives that improve safety, quality, reliability and productivity.\nVerantwoordelijkheden\nProduction & Process Optimization\nEnsure safe, reliable and efficient operation of the production units.\nDevelop a thorough understanding of process technology, equipment and process control systems.\nSupport daily production activities and optimize plant performance related to safety, quality, cost and throughput.\nDefine and maintain optimal operating windows and run profiles.\nMonitor and analyze key process indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.\nDrive operational excellence through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste and enhance environmental performance.\nTroubleshooting & Problem Solving\nLead or support advanced troubleshooting of process and production issues.\nFacilitate Root Cause Investigations and identify sustainable solutions.\nCoach operations personnel in structured problem-solving methodologies.\nAnalyze production losses and define actions to close performance gaps.\nContinuous Improvement & Projects\nIdentify improvement opportunities and translate them into actionable projects.\nAct as plant representative for Management of Change (MOC) activities.\nSupport and lead capital and plant improvement projects.\nEvaluate equipment and unit operation performance and proactively drive improvements.\nReview and prioritize process control and software modification requests.\nQuality & Operational Excellence\nEnsure production procedures and operating practices meet quality requirements.\nSupport quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce process and product improvements.\nDevelop and deliver process-related training for plant personnel.\nSafety & Regulatory Compliance\nParticipate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP studies and risk assessments.\nSupport implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from safety investigations and audits.\nDrive process safety and operational risk reduction initiatives.\nKwalificaties\nMaster's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nA Bachelor's degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered.\nExperience in a production, process or manufacturing engineering role within the chemical industry is strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of process control systems is an advantage.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nHands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement.\nAbility to influence and collaborate across multiple disciplines.\nLeadership potential and coaching mindset.\nExcellent communication skills.\nTeam player who thrives in an operational environment.\nFluent in Dutch and English.\nDiversity And Inclusion With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
