Trintech is a Plano, Texas-based software company that provides cloud financial close and account reconciliation solutions, automating transaction matching, balance sheet reconciliation, intercompany accounting, journal entries and close task management for finance and accounting teams. Its portfolio includes the Cadency platform for large enterprises and the Adra suite for mid-market organizations, used by more than 4,200 clients including most of the Fortune 100, with development centers in Bengaluru and Noida and an office in London. It hires software engineers and architects in C++, .NET, Java and Smalltalk, test automation and AI engineers, product managers, and sales staff.

Description

Trintech is an award-winning, AI-driven FinTech SaaS organisation and we’re seeking an ambitious Sales Director to lead our UKI Commercial Sales team. This is a high-impact leadership role in one of Trintech's fastest-growing markets.

You will inherit a team with momentum, a proven product and significant headroom. The UKI Commercial team grew exponentially last year, with much of that growth coming from new business. Average deal size has increased significantly over the past three years, and the team is now working against a materially higher target with the UK remaining one of our largest addressable markets in EMEA.

Your job is to build on that progress and develop a high-performance culture, develop sellers, create a more proactive pipeline engine and personally influence the deals that matter. You will have the remit to shape how we grow the market - across Sales, Marketing, Partners and Solutions Consulting - rather than simply manage an existing number.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the next phase of UKI growth: Turn strong momentum into repeatable, sustainable growth across new business and the wider commercial market.
  • Build a proactive growth engine: Increase self-generated pipeline and reduce reliance on inbound demand by creating a clear outbound rhythm, using market insight, campaigns, partners and seller activity.
  • Coach from the front: Develop sellers across prospecting, qualification, multi-threading, executive engagement, competitive positioning, negotiation and closing. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a role managed from the spreadsheet.
  • Stay close to customers and deals: Join strategic customer conversations, challenge deal strategy, help unlock executive access and coach the team through complex sales cycles.
  • Run the business through data: Use pipeline creation, conversion, win rates, deal size, forecast accuracy and productivity to identify where performance can improve - and act quickly.
  • Create operating discipline: Own forecasting, pipeline reviews and QBRs; set clear expectations; and address gaps early and constructively.
  • Shape the market strategy: Influence territory design, long-range planning and where we invest. Work across Marketing, Partners, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting and Sales Operations to build the funnel and remove growth constraints.

What you’ll bring

  • A proven SaaS sales leader with evidence of delivering growth and a clear point of view on how that growth was created.
  • A coach who raises the standard of the whole team, not simply the performance of the top sellers.
  • A commercially curious operator who can diagnose a funnel, identify gaps and mobilise Sales, Marketing and Partners around the right actions.
  • A leader who is comfortable with both strategy and detail: long-range planning one moment, deal coaching and customer meetings the next.
  • Strong command of pipeline management, forecasting, conversion metrics and sales productivity.
  • A customer-facing leader who enjoys executive conversations and is willing to get personally involved when it can change the outcome.
  • Experience in a competitive B2B SaaS environment. Exposure to finance technology, ERP ecosystems or complex solution selling is valuable, but not essential.
  • High standards and the ability to create a culture of accountability, learning and winning together.

At our core, Trintechers stand committed to fostering a culture rooted in our core values - Humble, Empowered, Reliable, and Open. Together, these values guide our actions, define our identity, and inspire us to continuously strive for excellence in everything we do.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or disability.
