serving as a senior technical resource and go-to person for automation guidance within the team.\nProvide technical guidance without direct people management responsibilities.\nCollaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on quality goals.\nContribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the team.\n\nOperational ExcellenceParticipate in planning, estimation, and requirement analysis.\nDefine and contribute to quality metrics and automation effectiveness tracking.\nTroubleshoot complex issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.\n8-12 years of experience in software testing with balanced expertise across both manual and automation testing.\nProven experience as a senior individual contributor in quality engineering/automation.\nSolid hands-on experience in test automation with the ability to guide and mentor team members on automation practices, tool usage, and best practices - framework design expertise is not required.\nHands-on expertise in:Web automation (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress)\nAPI automation (REST Assured / Postman / similar tools)\nThick client / desktop automation (Test Complete)\n\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExperience in performance testing using JMeter.\nProficiency in Java, Python, JS or similar programming languages.\nExperience with JIRA or similar test/defect management tools.\nSolid understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL queries.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to debug and troubleshoot complex systems.\nExperience working in enterprise-scale applications/products.\nAbility to influence without authority and drive adoption of best practices.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across teams.\nPassion for mentoring team members, particularly in test automation, and enabling others to grow their technical skills.\nAbility to balance hands-on execution with broader quality impact.\nAt our core, Trintechers stand committed to fostering a culture rooted in our core values -
