But we all share one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely.\n\nTHIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT\nPOSITION IS FULLY REMOTE\nKBR is seeking a Project Scheduler to perform overall scheduling of communications contacts with operational spacecraft missions through NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) antennas.\n\nThe DSN Project Scheduler willinterface ontheprojectsbehalf with allDSN Predicts, Service Scheduling Software (SSS) Admins, Schedule Process Owner (SPO) Office, etc. \n\n***Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident***\n\nResponsibilities:\nGenerate requirements using Request/Requirement & Control Language (R&CL) and events inSSSforinitialschedule generation\n\nPerform conflict resolution negotiation activities with all DSN users to maximizescience data return\n\nMaintain spacecraft support requirements, flight view periods and scheduling constraints and guidelines\n\nCoordinate the delivery ofaccurateDSN view periods and other mission products needed forResource Allocation Review (RAR) analysis\n\nAssistingin the preparation of and coordinating the responses to proposalsand project directed meetings\n\nPrepare weekly scheduling status reports\n\nDeliver plots, reports and schedule sorts asrequired\n\nMaintain project interfaces withJPLas it pertains to scheduling\n\nOperate (and test as needed) internet utilities,Common Allocation and Scheduling Tool (CAST), Service Preparation Subsystem (SPS), SSS and internally developed scripts\n\nParticipatingin process improvement activities\n\nKey Success Factors for a DNS Scheduler: \nDemonstratehigh levelof skills including teamwork, speed, organization, and performance\n\nObtain high level cognizance of spacecraft support and operational requirements.\n\nObtain high level cognizance of DSN scheduling and station resources.\n\nBecome proficient with scheduling tools.\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills\nBA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nBackground in computers and application software includingUNIX.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent.   \n\nTechnical writing skills, Effective interpersonal skills,Disciplinedwork ethic\n\nProfessionalism, Practical organizational skills,Team player\n\nSelf-motivated, able to work with minimalsupervision                                                                                    \n\nPreferred Experience & Skills:\n3 years of experience with network scheduling\n\nOr 3 years related flight project experience\n\nExperience with CAST, SPS and SSS\n\nBasic Compensation: \nJobs on this contract range from $58,300 - $87,400\n\nThe offered rate will be based on the position, contract affordability, the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and in consideration of internal parity.\n\n Additional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.Additionalcompensation may be in the form of sign on bonus,relocationbenefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.\n\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
