The team at Triple Zero Victoria are deeply committed to the community they serve and are among the most dedicated and highly skilled in their field.\nAbout the Role\nThe Learning Experience Designer sits in the Learning and Development team within People and Culture, reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development.\nYou will partner with subject matter experts across the business to turn complex operational and organisational content into learning that is clear, accurate and engaging. Your audience includes a 24/7 rostered workforce, so learning must be well designed, easy to use and right the first time.\nDay to day responsibilities include:\nConsult with SMEs to identify learning needs and content priorities\nConduct learning needs analyses and apply the instructional design process, from analysis through to evaluation\nAdvise on delivery modes and design approaches, based on sound instructional design principles\nDesign and build eLearning and instructor-led content, including storyboards, scenarios, interactive activities, and instructional graphics and diagrams\nDesign pre and post learning assessments to show whether learning has been effective\nFollow the learning materials development and review process, from prototype through to sign-off\nBuild and administer courses, programs and training content in Open LMS (Moodle)\nCarry out LMS site administration, including learner administration, general support and site upgrades\nMaintain version control and accurate records of all training content\nManage your time and workload across multiple projects, staying agile and flexible as priorities change, and deliver to the project schedule\nBuild strong working relationships with SMEs, Emergency Communications Services leaders and the greater TZV workforce\nAbout You\nEssential\nProven learning design experience, with adult learning theory applied in practice\nA tertiary qualification in learning design, education or a related field\nExperience writing learning objectives, measures of learning and design documents\nExcellent writing skills, and the ability to make complex information easy to understand and learn\nHigh attention to detail, with concern for standards and quality\nAbility to work flexibly across competing deadlines, reprioritise as demands shift, and find agile solutions to design and delivery challenges.\nDemonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts to translate technical and operational content into clear, effective learning materials.\nDesirable\nExperience managing content in a learning management system, such as Open LMS or Moodle\nCreative and interactive learning design, with a strong eye for layout and visual design\nExperience with Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline and Review), Canva and Microsoft 365.
