Before then, we want our sales ledgers clean, reconciled and accurate, so we migrate good data and start the new year strong.\nWorking alongside the Credit Control team, you will focus primarily on collections while supporting ledger clean-up and migration readiness.\nThis is a role for an experienced, self-sufficient credit controller who can take ownership of a collections workload and deliver results with minimal supervision.\nKey responsibilities\nChase overdue invoices by phone and email, prioritising the oldest and largest balances\nManage dunning sequences and customer correspondence activity in Upflow\nResolve invoice queries and disputes with Customer Success, Billing and Sales to unblock payment, within SLAs\nNegotiate payment and maintain accurate records of contact, promises to pay and account status\nEscalate payment plans, credit-risk concerns and high-risk accounts to the line manager \nCarry out customer account reconciliations, matching receipts, invoices and credit notes\nReallocate unapplied cash, debits and credits to the correct invoices, customers and entities\nClear unreconciled items and receivables-related suspense balances\nAssist in cleansing customer master data and support validation of opening AR balances for migration\nFlag process gaps and data issues so they are fixed at source, not carried forward\nProvide regular updates on collections, aged-debt movement, cleared items and outstanding issues.\nWhat success looks like\nWeek 1: Up and running in Xero and Upflow; priority accounts and aged-debt exposure identified with line manager\nWeeks 2-6: Collections underway on the oldest balances; reconciliations and reallocations progressing entity by entity; credit balances reduced.\nWeeks 7-10+: All allocated accounts resolved, opening AR balances validated, and handover notes completed\nRequirements\n2+ years recent Xero experience\n3+ years credit control experience\nExtensive account and bank reconciliation experience\n3+ years credit control experience, including proactive telephone and email collections, dispute resolution, dunning workflows and escalation of high-risk accounts\n2+ years, recent, hands-on Xero experience, including allocations, credit notes, customer reconciliations and AR reporting\nExtensive account and bank reconciliation experience, using Excel, Xero and other tools to match receipts to invoices, investigate variances and clear unapplied cash\nExperience managing multi-currency AR ledgers across multiple entities\nStrong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivots and reconciliations\nConfident chasing customers by phone and email, firmly and professionally\nHigh attention to detail and a methodical approach to cleaning up historic data\nAble to start immediately and work independently with minimal supervision.\nBenefits\nWhy join us?\nBe part of a fast-paced, dynamic team at the forefront of travel technology innovation.\nEnjoy a collaborative and fun working environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth.\nCompetitive salary package and rewards for high performance.\nOur start-up culture means everybody's contribution matters and is celebrated.
