This is an opportunity to take ownership of a complex, high-visibility program where strong financial management, resource planning, governance, and executive communication will be central to your success.\nIf you have significant senior-level program leadership experience and a background in corrections, criminal justice, or public safety, this role offers the opportunity to lead across multiple teams, vendors, stakeholders, and interconnected workstreams in a fully remote environment.\nWhat’s in It for You?\nHigh-Impact Leadership - Lead a large-scale, multimillion-dollar program with significant organizational visibility and multiple stakeholders.\nStrategic Ownership - Drive program financials, resource allocation, forecasting, governance, risk management, and executive reporting.\nComplex Program Environment - Coordinate multiple teams, vendors, resources, dependencies, and workstreams while maintaining alignment with program objectives.\nExecutive Visibility - Partner with senior stakeholders and provide clear, actionable reporting on program health, financial performance, risks, resources, and delivery.\nFully Remote Opportunity - Work remotely from anywhere within the United States.\nYour Role & Responsibilities\nLead the planning, execution, governance, and delivery of a large-scale, multimillion-dollar program.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive program plans that align multiple projects, workstreams, resources, vendors, milestones, and dependencies.\nOwn program financial management, including budgets, actuals, forecasts, variance analysis, and multiyear financial planning.\nDirect resource management activities, including capacity planning, demand forecasting, allocation, and identification of resource constraints.\nEstablish and maintain effective program governance, reporting structures, decision-making processes, and escalation paths.\nPrepare and present executive-level program status reporting covering delivery, financials, resources, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.\nIdentify, assess, communicate, and actively manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and cross-functional dependencies.\nCoordinate internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain accountability and achieve program objectives.\nOversee vendor performance and support successful delivery of COTS and/or third-party technology solutions where applicable.\nBuild productive relationships with government, public-sector, technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.\nSupport knowledge transfer and transition activities with the existing Program Manager as needed.\nSkills & Experience You Should Possess\nTo be successful in this role, you should bring:\n10+ years of senior-level program and/or project management experience, including responsibility for complex initiatives.\nAt least 2 years of professional experience specifically within corrections, criminal justice, or public safety. This is a required qualification.\nDemonstrated experience managing large-scale, multimillion-dollar programs.\nStrong program financial management capabilities, including budgeting, actuals, forecasting, variance management, and multiyear financial planning.\nProven resource management experience, including capacity planning and resource allocation across multiple teams and workstreams.\nExperience managing multiple projects, vendors, teams, resources, dependencies, and priorities simultaneously.\nStrong executive-level communication and reporting capabilities.\nDemonstrated program governance, risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management experience.\nAbility to bring structure and direction to complex initiatives involving numerous stakeholders and competing priorities.\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes across teams and organizations.\nImportant: General government or public-sector experience by itself does not fulfill the domain requirement. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience specifically in corrections, criminal justice, or public safety.\nBonus Points If You Have\nPublic-sector or government program management experience.\nExperience working with state government agencies or similarly complex public-sector organizations.\nCOTS implementation experience.\nExtensive third-party vendor and contract management experience.\nExperience leading large technology modernization or transformation programs.\nExperience transitioning ownership of an established program from another Program Manager.\nEducation & Certifications You Need\n Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.\nRelevant bachelor's degree is valuable; however, no specific degree requirement was provided for this opportunity.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Trissential, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your expertise to our client’s team while tackling a complex, high-impact program.
