Located on TRIUMF’s campus, it will comprise an integrated series of labs and a TR-24 medical cyclotron, one of the most technologically advanced commercial cyclotrons in the world. IAMI will significantly increase British Columbia’s and Canada’s capacity for the sustainable and reliable production and distribution of medical isotopes currently critical for Canadian health research and clinical use, including Technetium-99m and Fluorine-18.\nWe are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator that will be assigned to support Quality Assurance of the radiotracer program and TRIUMF’s new IAMI facility.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProvide daily quality oversight of production activity, including review of batch records\n\nCoordinate the quality assurance program related to the radiotracer and radioisotope programs through implementing and monitoring relevant procedures\n\nCoordinate the facility-related quality programs with all IAMI stakeholders\n\nPlace orders for materials and supplies according to established procedures, assisting with release of quarantined materials\n\nTrend data for annual compliance reports\n\nEnsure complaints, incidents, errors and deficiencies are correctly documented, controlled and investigated\n\nAssist with Change Requests, Deviations, and out of specification documentation\n\nReceive orders for radiotracers and radioisotopes, and reviewing regulatory commitments\n\nReport to leadership and stakeholders on the status of the quality assurance program\n\nAssist with coordinating with contractors for equipment calibration and inspection\n\nAssist with bi-annual documentation review\n\nMaintain quality-system related records and reports according to established policies\n\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nThe incumbant will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Other qualifications include:\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office \nProven documentation skills \nStrong attention to detail\nForward thinking with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills\nNUCLEAR ENERGY WORKER:\nYou will be required to successfully complete the TRIUMF in-house radiation safety training course and be designated as a TRIUMF Nuclear Energy Worker.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:\nA bachelor’s degree or a diploma in a STEM field, chemistry or natural sciences preferred\n\n1-3 years of professional experience\n\nAlthough not a requirement, the following knowledge, experience and qualifications would be considered an asset to your application.\nKnowledge of Health Canada, FDA or EMA regulations\n\nTraining or experience in the principles of data governance and data integrity\n\nExperience with inventory management\n\nApplicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).\nAnnual Salary: $59,925.00 plus our comprehensive employer-paid benefits plan\nPosition type:\nPermanentTotal Rewards\nAt TRIUMF, we value our employees and are committed to providing a competitive total rewards package.
