This role reports to the Senior Managing Counsel and supports the company's government contracting and environmental services bid pipeline. \nTriumvirate Environmental provides leading organizations in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources. \nResponsibilities: \nThe essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nReview RFPs and RFQs in partnership with the internal bid team, from initial solicitation through final submission\nPerform contract review on proposed terms and conditions, identifying non-standard, ambiguous, or high-risk provisions, working directly with senior counsel to ensure proper bid submissions\nApply working knowledge of the job bid process and surety requirements to evaluate whether solicitation terms are workable for the company\nIdentify and flag compliance risks related to government contracting and environmental services regulations, escalating issues to the Senior Managing Counsel as needed\nHelp legal department manage its responsibilities related to government contracts\nTrack and manage bid-related contract documents, deadlines, and status internally\nHelp legal team with Surety and Bonding requirements\nCommunicate contract risk and terms clearly to non-legal stakeholders on the bid team\nPartner with the bid team to resolve open contract questions ahead of submission deadlines\nMaintain organized records of bid submissions, contract terms, and related correspondence\nPerform other legal administrative duties as assigned \nBasic Requirements: \nJuris Doctor (JD) not required\nPrior experience reviewing bids or contracts for a service-based company\nExperience with government contracting\nExperience with environmental services\nProficiency with Oracle and CLMs\nStrong self-starter, able to work independently with minimal oversight\nAbility to multitask and manage multiple concurrent bid deadlines\nHigh attention to detail in reviewing complex contractual language\nClear written and verbal communication with both legal and non-legal stakeholders\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship \nMust have a reliable form of transportation \nPreferred Requirements: \nParalegal certificate (or equivalent)\n#LI-Hybrid \nBesides Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, we contribute to a 401k, offer a generous tuition reimbursement program, TONS of safety training for some positions with opportunities for external trainings and certifications, Mentorship & Career Succession Planning, Relocation Opportunities, Auto/Home insurance discounts, pet assistance discount plans, discounted movie passes & more! \nTo learn more about our business, culture, and the exciting work that we are doing in the industry, find us on LinkedIn, Instagram (@triumvirateenvironmental), or our website! \nTriumvirate Environmental is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
