Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity. \nThis position reports to the Operations Manager. \nResponsibilities: \nTechnical: Maintain good attendance and punctuality. \nDeveloping a strong working knowledge of computer software programs that support the operation. \nAssistProgram Manageras requested. \n\nHands-on: Handle chemicals and hazardous waste in small and large containers. \nUtilization of a material shredder. \nWillingness to wear a respirator for 2 to 6 hours per day. \n\nCustomer Service: Provide clients with high-quality and professional customer service. \nPositive attitude, high energy, and good communication skills. \nRotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team \n\nBasic Requirements: \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. \nValid driver's license and clean driving record. \nBasic knowledge of, or interest in, the hazardous waste field. \n1+ years of customer service experience. \nSelf-motivated person with the desire to learn. \nMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship \nMust have a reliable form of transportation \nMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) \nUpon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment \nMust be able to report to site/office within 1 hour while on emergency response call. \nMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis \nAbility to work overtime on when needed\nThe Environmental Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
