Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity.\nEssential responsibilities and duties include: \nOperate excavators safely and efficiently to support daily job site operations.\nDevelop an understanding of DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations and TEI's Health and Safety Practices\nUnderstand and execute all required paperwork\nRoutinely perform pre- and post-use inspections\nStabilize and solidify EPA listed hazardous waste for disposal\nProcess waste materials per landfill, waste to energy and recycle specifications\nWork with various stabilization and treatment reagents\nMaintain facility to meet/exceed permit requirements\nAssist Facility Manager as requested\nOperate a forklift as needed\nMaintain good attendance\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nCommercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required\nA minimum of 1-2 years experience operating excavators, as well as other equipment\nBasic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field\nSelf-motivation with the desire to learn\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship \nMust have a reliable form of transportation \nMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) \nUpon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment \nMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis \nAbility to work overtime on a regular basis \nMust be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday) \nMust be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts \nThis role frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
