This role involves scheduling, logistics management, administrative support, compliance, and safety to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity. \nThis position reports to the Operations Manager.\nResponsibilities: \nScheduling and Coordination:\nCreate and maintain schedules for transportation, onsite environmental services, ensuring optimal resource allocation.\nCoordinate with field teams, clients, and vendors to schedule services and deliveries.\nMonitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in project scope or client needs.\nCollaborate with the team of managers in the region to develop staffing strategies, maintain trainings, and update processes\nCommunicate scheduling updates and changes to all relevant stakeholders.\nBe a leader and technical resource for all environmental specialists working on lab services and OSS accounts\nPersonnel Management:\nManage a team of Environmental Specialists\nCoaching Environmental Specialists, Material Handlers, and Environmental Technicians. through the advancement program through regular 1:1 meeting, at least monthly\nProvide feedback and professional guidance to onsite staff\nWork collaboratively with inside operations to ensure staff are meeting all training milestones, safety deliverables, and generally adhering to TEI programs and policies\nServe as an advocate for TEI internal programs including STOP program, ROPE/TALK mentorships, and CDL driver programs\nComplete required administrative tasks including timesheet, expense report and PTO approval\nVerify direct reports adhere to TEI policies and quality standards\nLogistics Management:\nOversee the logistics of equipment, supplies, and personnel for onsite operations.\nEnsure the timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.\nCoordinate transportation and logistics for field personnel.\nManage inventory of onsite supplies and equipment, ensuring availability as needed.\nAdministrative Support:\nMaintain accurate records of operations, including schedules, work orders, and service reports.\nAssist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and reports.\nSupport the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operations.\nProvide general administrative support to the operations team.\nSupport efforts to build out OSS and Lab Services teams.\nCustomer Service:\nServe as a point of contact for clients regarding scheduling and operational inquiries.\nAddress client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.\nProvide regular updates to clients on the status of their projects and services.\nHands-on management of large Lab Services projects, including participating in disposals for large accounts.\nSafety and Compliance:\nEnsure all onsite operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.\nParticipate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the team.\nConduct routine inspections of onsite equipment and operations for safety compliance.\nWork with internal operations team to schedule the delivery of hazardous & non-hazardous waste while maintaining 10-day facility compliance\nDrive safety related culture by monitoring and follow up on STOP audits and incident reports\nWork alongside safety team to manage light duty accommodations as appropriate and defined by TEI safety team and healthcare professions\nParticipate in after action reviews of incidents as necessary\nCorrect and enforce safety policies while onsite, in the warehouse and during team meetings, escalating as appropriate\nRotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team \nBasic Requirements: \nA minimum of 18 months experience as working in a hands on hazardous waste role, including experience with lab packing.\nBS/BA in Environmental Science or Business-related degree or relative Military experience preferred \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nDetail orientation\nInterpersonal and customer service skills\nDesire to grow within our organization\nTime management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines\nStrong supervisory and leadership skills\nAbility to work early mornings, including weekends, and overnight trips as necessary\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship \nMust have a reliable form of transportation \nMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) \nUpon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment \nMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis \nAbility to work overtime on a regular basis \nMust be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts \nThe Operations Lead frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
