Reporting directly to the Disposal Operations Manager, this leadership role is essential to driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple functions within the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the regional disposal services, optimizing waste disposal processes, and integrating key functions such as quoting, routing, QA/QC, and approval workflows.

As a strategic leader, you will work closely with senior leaders across regions to align operational initiatives with Triumvirate's broader growth and vertical integration objectives. Your ability to drive process improvement and foster cross-functional teamwork will be crucial in achieving consistent, high-quality service delivery across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, particularly within waste disposal or related industries. You will excel in fostering collaboration, optimizing operational workflows, and ensuring that all teams work cohesively to achieve regional and corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with third-party facility sales contacts to identify and implement optimal disposal solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on regional routing strategies, including addressing internal team queries related to process codes, facility selection, and waste profiling.
  • Collaborate with regional logistics and facility teams to identify emerging trends, facility capacity changes, and opportunities for continuous operational optimization.
  • Engage in regional approvals processes to ensure proper alignment of routing and disposal solutions with approval workflows.
  • Oversee, prioritize, and manage core regional disposal operations, including:
    • Waste discrepancy resolution
    • Process code management
    • Supporting the sales team with site assessments and disposal opportunity scoping
    • Reviewing and approving proposals, including cost breakdowns, estimates, and disposal/lab service proposals within CPQ
    • Assisting with bid preparation, disposal decision-making, and cost analysis when required

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in operations management, with a focus on waste disposal or a closely related industry.
  • Working knowledge of hazardous waste regulations (RCRA, DOT 49 CFR, state-specific requirements) and direct experience performing hazardous waste determinations and managing waste streams through licensed disposal facilities.
  • In-depth understanding of waste disposal processes, including quoting, routing, approvals, and quality assurance/control procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and regions.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Proven expertise in project management, team development, and aligning team efforts with both corporate and regional objectives.
  • BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or other related majors, or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of direct industry experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship

This is a critical leadership role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Triumvirate Environmental’s growth and operational performance.
