Key responsibilities include waste characterization, consolidation, packing, shipping, and training on chemical safety and waste management. Your role will require strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with facility management on tasks such as RCRA and DOT compliance, technical services, transportation, and waste disposal coordination. This role is onsite and is based in Casa Grande, AZ.\nEssential responsibilities:\nDevelop the knowledge and experience to manage a permitted facility\nUnderstand facility permit and local governing agency expectations for waste management\nAssist with general facility compliance including performing daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review, and process review\nAssist with general facility operations including serving as management if the Plant Manager is not available\nConsolidate waste according to permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferences\nBuild loads for outbound transportation\nAssist with waste determinations/profile management and laboratory operations\nCoordinate outbound shipments- setting up deliveries, scheduling transporters, etc.\nDevelop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, and EPA regulations\nDemonstrate your supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers\nWork towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental services\nWork with computerized waste tracking systems\nUpon completion of emergency response (ER) training, you will be part of an in-house ER team\nThis position also includes the daily need to lift items that weigh up to 75 pounds\nThis is a safety sensitive position \nBasic Requirements:\nBS/BA in Environmental Science or Business-related degree required OR 2+ years of industry, or relative Military experience\nValid driver’s license in good standing\nAbility to work as a member of a team as well as individually\nExcellent customer service skills and ability to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel preferred\nPersonality conducive to teamwork\nStrong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills preferred\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship \nMust have a reliable form of transportation \nMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) \nUpon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment \nMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis \nAbility to work overtime on a regular basis \nMust be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday) \nMust be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts \nThe Facility Specialist frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
