The ideal candidate will manage waste approval processes into the Arizona facility, support field and technical teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory and facility requirements.\nTriumvirate Environmental provides leading organizations in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity. \nThis position reports to the Plant Manager. \nResponsibilities: \nProvide Facility approval technical support to Field Operations and the Technical Service Department\nDemonstrate strong communication skills across internal and external teams\nManage incoming and outgoing waste approvals for the facility\nLead and support regional specialists while meeting internal and external turnaround timelines\nMaintain working knowledge of Waste Processing Software\nUnderstand technical, customer service, and business components of Triumvirate operations\nSupply accurate disposal facility information to TSRs and Account Managers\nMaintain knowledge of The Arizona Facility\nManage Process Code Tables and Regulatory Tables within Suite\nServe as a subject matter expert for RCRA and DOT regulations for the Facility\nPerform packing slip and profile quality checks (QCs)\nManage all approval requests into and out of the facility; Serve as gatekeeper protecting facility permit and license conditions.\nImplement and support regional waste routing strategies\nDeliver presentations to corporate audiences\nParticipate in employee training initiatives\nApply creative problem solving to unique operational challenges\nCollaborate effectively as part of a team\nTravel several times per year as needed\nProvide exceptional internal and external customer service (“WOW!” customers)\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Requirements: \nMinimum of three years of direct experience in a waste approvals role\nStrong commitment to teamwork and collaboration\nMinimum of one year of TSDF experience or equivalent\nBachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (or equivalent experience)\nAbility to submit official college transcripts\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship \nMust have a reliable form of transportation\n#LI-Onsite \nBesides Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, we contribute to a 401k, offer a generous tuition reimbursement program, TONS of safety training for some positions with opportunities for external trainings and certifications, Mentorship & Career Succession Planning, Relocation Opportunities, Auto/Home insurance discounts, pet assistance discount plans, discounted movie passes & more! \nTo learn more about our business, culture, and the exciting work that we are doing in the industry, find us on LinkedIn, Instagram (@triumvirateenvironmental), or our website! \nTriumvirate Environmental is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
