We’re a growing group focused on scaling our direct connections with independent hotels globally through trivago Business Studio. \nYou’ll get hands-on with the tools, workflows and data behind our email campaigns, writing the HTML and CSS behind our templates and using the AI-assisted build workflow we run in Cursor and Claude. trivago is a place where ambition and support go hand in hand: we hold high standards and genuinely invest in each other’s growth, so you’ll always have people around you to learn from. \nHow you’ll make an impact:\nSupport the planning, building and delivery of digital marketing campaigns and email communications for independent hotels. \nBuild and adapt responsive HTML/CSS email templates from our design-system component library. \nHelp maintain and improve our multi-language library of marketing templates and creative assets. \nWork with campaign data and reporting to track key performance metrics and spot opportunities to improve. \nSupport quality assurance: testing campaigns across devices, checking translations, and validating tracking links. \nGet involved in refining our AI-assisted marketing workflows (Cursor, Claude) to work faster and smarter. \nWhat you'll need to thrive:\nStudying Marketing, Digital Business, Media Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. \nYou write code confidently - solid HTML and CSS, and enough JavaScript to debug your way out of trouble - and you communicate confidently in English (our company language). \nA genuine learning mindset - you approach challenges with curiosity, seek out feedback, and continuously look for ways to develop and grow. \nA performance mindset - you set ambitious goals for yourself and have the determination and resilience to follow through and achieve them. \nAn open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation - you actively explore how tools like Claude and Cursor can enhance your work, and you’re excited to grow alongside evolving technology. \nA valid work permit authorizing employment in Germany (required for all internship applicants). \nStand out with:\nExperience with email or digital marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Mailchimp). \nMarketing campaigns or templates you’ve built before - freelance, agency, side project or student initiative all count. \nSomething you’ve built with AI that other people went on to use. \nWorried about missing a few requirements?
