This is both a builder and operator role: you'll manage the day-to-day identity, endpoint, and collaboration stack while standing up the policies, tooling, and processes that let the IT function scale as headcount grows across our companies.\nResponsibilities\nOwn IT Operations and Infrastructure end-to-end across [4] companies\nBuild out the IT department: policies, tooling, processes, and eventually a team\nManage identity, endpoint, and collaboration stack (Okta, Kandji, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, 1Password)\nOwn VPN and basic network/security posture (NordLayer or equivalent)\nManage AV systems for meeting rooms and offices, including Crestron and Google Meet hardware\nSupport basic networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls) and coordinate with security engineer/vendor on more advanced needs\nManage vendor relationships (MSPs, SaaS vendors, hardware suppliers, telecom/AV integrators) including contract negotiation and renewals\nSupport onboarding/offboarding for domestic and international employees, coordinating with HR/EOR providers on equipment and access\nPrioritize and manage a high volume of concurrent, high-priority IT projects across multiple companies\nReport on IT operations, incidents, budget, and roadmap to executive leadership\nStreamline processes for efficiency and scalability as headcount grows\nManage IT budget and asset lifecycle across entities\nEnsure basic security practices are followed (MFA, least privilege, patching, endpoint compliance)\nMentor/oversee IT Support staff or contractors\nRequirements\n3-6 years in IT management, systems engineering, or infrastructure roles\nExcellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders\nComfortable presenting to and working directly with C-suite\nExperience with general AV systems, specifically Crestron and Google Meet room hardware\nBasic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, Wi-Fi)\nBasic security practices (identity management, MFA, endpoint security, patching)\nExperience managing vendor relationships and contracts\nExperience supporting
