Your experience in project engineering in the environment of construction within the renewable energy or energy infrastructure sector will allow the BESS projects we build to meet the highest quality standards. Your technical expertise allows you to challenge the \"usual practice\" and to proactively find disruptive approaches to optimise project processes and quality. In addition you will support the project manager on optimisation of execution timelines and costs. Our ideal candidate is a team player who successfully collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and reliable BESS projects.\nWhat you will work on - Your Responsibilities\nSupport the project development teamBe the go-to person for technical questions during project development\nReview BESS project documentation produced by internal and external project developers to evaluate technical project viability\n\nBe an active member in the tendering and offer benchmarking teamPreparing and sharing project dataroom with relevant stakeholders\nReview technical offers from our contractors and manage technical Q&A\nBenchmarking technical offers against competing offers and industry state-of-the-art\n\nContractingEnsure that scope of work is aligned with expectations\nReview technical procedures\nReview project warranties, datasheets and certificates\n\n ExecutionManage technical risks in a team with a BESS project manager\nSite presence during key project phases (project kick-off, equipment delivery, SAT) to ensure highest safety and quality standards\nWeekly follow-up meetings with contractors\nDocumentation follow-up, including quality and progress checks, aligned with the Owner’s Engineer\nReview test reports (FAT, cold commissioning, energisation, hot commissioning, SAT)\nActively follow commissioning until project acceptance\nDefine a project punch list upon project acceptance, and follow up its closure for project completion\nHandover project to the Asset Management team\n\nWhat we are looking for - Your Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or in an energy-related field\nExperience: At least 3 years working in construction projects in the energy sector, preferably in the construction of BESS\nTechnical expertise: Good knowledge about electrical systems and BESS technologies\nSoft skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills.
