We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.\nGeneral Purpose\nAssists with daily golf operations and coordinates tournaments and outings from planning through completion, providing a high level of service to members, guests, and tournament groups.\nEssential Duties\nCoordinates assigned tournaments and events from initial planning through completion, following the facility tournament manual and keeping accurate records for all groups and events.\nPrepares for outings, including scorecards, cart labels, rules, format, score and pairing sheets, favors, and hole assignments; assists with golfer registration.\nAdvises management and the Superintendent of upcoming events to coordinate set-up and staffing; helps maintain the monthly events calendar.\nCoordinates support from golf services, golf shop, food and beverage, and other departments for events.\nPromotes club golf activities and tournament venues; maintains contacts with groups, businesses, civic and charity organizations; sells logo merchandise and golf services.\nCommunicates event details, critical dates, and course closures to members, groups, and individuals.\nSchedules and maintains tee times for members, groups, and individual play.\nOperates the POS and tee sheet systems: reconciles daily tee sheets, checks in players, processes payments, resolves billing discrepancies, and tracks force posts and no-show charges.\nMonitors member scores, reports handicaps to USGA, and bills members.\nServes as ranger, starter, guest relations, outside services, or golf shop staff as scheduled.\nMaintains a clean, orderly, well-stocked golf shop; assists with merchandising, sales, and procurement.\nAssists in creating lesson plans and provides individual and group instruction.\nFollows opening and closing procedures; assists with associate training.\nIncorporates safe work practices; maintains regular and reliable attendance; performs other duties as required.\nEducation/Experience\nAssociate’s degree (AA); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nCertificates/Licenses\nCurrent PGA/LPGA membership.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to read and speak English.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with computerized POS and tee time systems.\nUnderstanding of course rotation and tee time arrangement.\nPhysical Demands/Environment\nRegularly stands, walks, and sits; frequently uses hands, talks, and hears; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Frequently works in outdoor weather and occasionally in wet or humid conditions.
