Ensures reliable, high-quality, and governed data flows that support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications. Serves as a technical leader in data engineering, driving best practices in pipeline design, data modeling, and platform optimization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to ingest data from internal and external systems into Azure data platforms\nBuild and manage data integration processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and/or Azure Data Lake\nImplement and enforce medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold) for structured data refinement and consumption\nTransform raw data into clean, validated, and enriched datasets suitable for analytics and business use\nDevelop and optimize data models and transformation logic for performance and scalability\nIntegrate data from APIs, SaaS platforms, databases, and third-party systems\nEnsure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all pipeline stages\nImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging for pipeline performance and failures\nCollaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to support reporting and advanced analytics needs\nMaintain and optimize data storage solutions (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse) for cost and performance efficiency\nEstablish and follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, and deployment of data pipelines\nDocument data flows, transformations, and system dependencies\nRequired Qualifications:\n3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or data integration\nHands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines\nExperience working within cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience implementing medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold layers)\nExperience integrating multiple enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, SaaS platforms)\nExperience supporting analytics or BI environments\nRequired Knowledge and Skills:\nStrong proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques\nExperience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics)\nExpertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and orchestration\nStrong understanding of data modeling (relational and dimensional)\nExperience working with APIs, file-based ingestion, and streaming data sources\nKnowledge of data quality, validation, and error-handling techniques\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\nPreferred Knowledge and Skills:\nExperience with PySpark, Spark, or Databricks\nFamiliarity with Delta Lake and lakehouse architectures\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure\nKnowledge of data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools\nExperience optimizing performance and cost in cloud environments\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field\nEquivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.\nBenefits & Other Compensation:\nThis position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:\nHealthcare Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage\n Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)\n Time Off - Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria\nEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.\nAbout Troon:\nFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
