As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.\nDirect and oversee all facets of food and beverage operations in our restaurant, golfers’ lounge, and outdoor terrace including personnel training, scheduling and supervising, maintaining service standards, menu, ordering, vendor relations, inventory, and marketing. Responsible for department related guest satisfaction and financial performance.\nCompensation: $60,000 to $70,000 per year (Depending on Experience)\nEssential Duties:\nClearly describes, assigns and delegates responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage sub-departments (i.e., catering, room service, restaurants, banquets, kitchens, and stewards). \nResponsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. \nDevelops, administers ongoing training programs and tracks completion and certifications\nAssures that each new associate receives effective orientation and training. Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses. \nPrepares and monitors annual budget, revenue goals and the expenses for the Food and Beverage department as well as generating various (weekly, monthly etc.) business volume forecasts and planning accordingly. \nReviews and analyzes various financial results/reports to monitor overall Food and Beverage performance and take any corrective actions as needed. \nMonitors market conditions that impact menu offerings, business volume, and profitability. \nExecutes inventory control and calculation for monthly analysis and reconciliation. Identifies opportunities to control food, beer, wine, and liquor costs and other expenses. \nParticipates with the Chef and management team in the creation of menus to entice variety of appetites including restaurant and banquets while incorporating a menu pricing structure that will support the bottom-line goals. \nDirects beverage ordering amounts, timing of orders, receiving, invoice settlement and accuracy, storage temperatures and areas. \nSeeks to optimize engagement with Troon Preferred F&B Partnerships to best available products, prices and service.\nImplements policies and procedures for the Food and Beverage department including compliance of company standards relating to quality of products and services. \nResponsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction. \nCommunicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department. \nConducts staff meetings with subordinates. \nMaintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the General Manager. \nIncorporates safe work practices in job performance. \nAttends and participates in staff meetings. \nMinimum Qualifications for the Food and Beverage Manager:\nBachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year College or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nIs ServSafe Food Manager Certified or can obtain certification\nHas or can obtain TiPS or Responsible Alcohol Service certification\nOther Qualifications:\nKnowledge hospitality POS system application, hardware, software and menu programing.\nExperience in Multi-faceted Food and Beverage operations. \nBenefits & Other Compensation:\nThis position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:\nHealthcare Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage\n Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)\n Time Off - Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria\nAdditional Compensation - Eligibility for Bonuses\nEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.\nAbout Troon:\nFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
