We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.\nCompensation: $15.00 per hour\nGeneral Purpose:\nAssists servers in providing efficient service by delivering orders from the kitchen to guests and keeping BOH areas clean, organized and stocked. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.\nEssential Duties:\nAssures that all material used by server and expeditor is clean and ready for daily operation.\nPossesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.\nSets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivering of food.\nOrganizes the plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables.\nSets tables in accordance with facility standards.\nAnswer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.\nInform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check).\nEnsures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket.\nDelivers food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.\nCorrects the menu item with the chef or expeditor before delivering the menu item to meet the exact specification on the ticket. Removes any place settings not being used.\nClears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.\nKeeps work stations well stocked of items and ingredients.\nCleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.\nIncorporates safe work practices in job performance.\nRegular and reliable attendance.\nPerforms other duties as required.\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nPreferred Requirements:\nPrevious experience as a Food Runner or similar entry-level role in a restaurant. \nPhysical Demands:\nFrequently stands, walks, talks and hears. Frequently uses hands.\nRegularly reaches with arms and hands.
