The General Manager serves as the primary ambassador for the community, fostering strong relationships with members, guests, associates, and the surrounding community.\nEssential Duties:\nProvide overall leadership and strategic direction for all community operations, ensuring exceptional member and guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of service.\nDevelop, manage, and monitor annual operating and capital budgets, business forecasts, financial reports, and key performance metrics to achieve revenue and profitability goals.\nLead, mentor, and develop department leaders and associates through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, and professional development.\nEnsure compliance with all company policies, Human Resources procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulations.\nOversee the maintenance, appearance, and long-term planning of all club facilities, grounds, and physical assets.\nCollaborate with department leaders to drive operational excellence across all operations.\nPartner with leadership on marketing, membership, and community engagement initiatives to promote club programs and drive business growth.\nFoster a collaborative, service-focused culture while building strong relationships with members, guests, associates, vendors, and the local community.\nDirectly supervise department leaders.\nMaintain active involvement in industry organizations and pursue ongoing professional development to remain current on hospitality and industry best practices.\nThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
