As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in community management.\nCompensation: $150,000 annually\nOverview:\nThe General Manager will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of golf operations, guest experience, financial performance, staff development, and community engagement while helping shape the continued growth and success of this recreational destination. The General Manager will be responsible for directing and administering all aspects of the operation, including coordination and administration of the property’s policies and procedures. Previous supervisory experience is a requirement for the position.\nIdeal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepares and monitors annual budget, revenue goals and expenses as well as generating various (weekly, monthly, etc.) business volume forecasts.\nMonitors monthly and other financial reports/statements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary.\nEstablishes basic personnel policy and initiates and monitors policies relating to personnel actions and training along with professional development programs.\nEnsures all Human Resources procedures and policies are followed by management staff.\nDevelops, maintains and administers a sound organizational plan and initiates improvements as necessary.\nAttends workshops and meetings to keep abreast of current information and developments.\nOversees the care and maintenance of all the facility’s physical assets and each individual facility.\nCoordinates marketing programs to promote the facility’s services to potential customers.\nEnsures the highest standards for food and beverage service on property.\nImplements policies and procedures for multiple departments, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.\nResponsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\nDirectly manages department members.\nAssures that each new Associate receives effective orientation and training.\nDevelops and implements ongoing training programs.\nRegular and reliable attendance.\nEducation & Experience:\nPrefer minimum 5 years related experience in as General Manager at a club.\nA four-year college degree preferred but not required.\nMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nMust possess excellent written and oral communication skills.\nMust be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail.\nMust have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.\nMust possess the ability to coordinate projects and delegate responsibility.\nAbility to analyze and resolve complex problems.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships.\nBenefits & Other Compensation:\nThis position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:\nHealthcare Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage\n Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)\n Time Off - Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria\nAdditional Compensation - Eligibility for Bonuses\nEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.\nAbout Troon:\nTroon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the world’s largest professional club management company.
