Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.\nGeneral Purpose:\nResponsible for outside services, pace of play, guest relations, and cart area operations.\nEssential Duties:\nWorks with the Tournament Coordinator to organize all groups/outings taking place on a specific day and prepares staff and the facility for these events.\n\nMaintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs, services customers renting golf clubs, and cleans rental clubs upon return.\n\nEnsures the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot. Inventories and controls all guest supplies.\n\nAssists in monitoring and policing all player service activity and etiquette. Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, and pace of play.\n\nMay assist with food and beverage activities.\n\nResponsible for hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.\n\nManages department members that may include, but are not limited to: Guest Services Supervisor, Guest Services Attendants, and Player Assistants.\n\nAssures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.\n\nMonitors business volume forecasts and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses.\n\nIncorporates safe work practices in job performance.\n\nMaintains regular and reliable attendance.\n\nPerforms other duties as required.\n\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPhysical Demands:\nFrequently stands, walks, uses hands, and talks or hears.\nOccasionally sits;
