As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.\nRole:\nSeasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)\nCompensation:\n$22.00 - $25.00 per hour\nGeneral Purpose:\nThe Line Cook is responsible for preparing various food products in the embodiment of the Club at Crested Butte’s standards of service and member experience.\nEssential Duties:\nCook on the line and prepare food items before and during service as needed.\nMaintain quality control for all products, including daily monitoring of freshness.\nFollow recipes and/or product directions for proper food preparation.\nTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart.\nPrepare appropriate equipment for cooking.\nOperate kitchen utensils and/or equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, slicing, assembling, and kneading of food products.\nFollow proper food-handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures.\nClean and sanitize the workstation and equipment.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.\nPhysical Demands:\nPhysical activity may include long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and scooping.\nRegularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.\nNoise level can be moderate to loud.\nOccasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); may come into contact with toxic or caustic chemicals.\nOccasionally works in extreme cold or heat (non-weather); may work in outdoor weather conditions.\nEducation/Experience:\nThree to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience.\nWork Requirements:\nAbility to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasons.\nAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.\nPossesses high ethical standards.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time. \nBenefits & Other Compensation:\nThis position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:\n Healthcare Benefits - Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)\n Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)\n Time Off - Sick leave and leaves of absence, in accordance with\no Colorado (CO) - Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act\nEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.\nAbout Troon:\nFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
