As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.\nOverview:\nThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support the daily operations of our facilities and equipment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to service, and a commitment to safety, functionality, and overall community excellence.\nResponsibilities:\n Routine Maintenance:\nPerform regular inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).\nConduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.\nRepairs:\nDiagnose and repair issues with mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facility components.\nRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and operations.\nFacility Upkeep:\nMaintain the appearance and functionality of all common areas, including landscaping, walkways, and recreational facilities.\nAssist in setting up, taking down, and storing equipment for events and activities as needed.\nSafety & Compliance:\nEnsure all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.\nInventory Management:\nManage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; ensure availability of necessary materials for maintenance tasks.\nOrder and replenish supplies as needed, keeping within budgetary constraints.\nCollaboration & Communication:\nWork closely with the facility team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.\nCommunicate effectively with team members, residents, and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.\nExperience in facility maintenance or a similar role.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nPhysical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation.\nAbility to be on call for emergencies and respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as required.\nBi-lingual preferred (English and Spanish).\nWorking Conditions:\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and crouching, for extended periods.\nAbility to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.\nWork Schedule:\nFull-time position with regular working hours and weekend work; may require on-call availability for emergencies.\nThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.\nBenefits & Other Compensation:\nThis position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:\nHealthcare Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.\n Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older).\n Time Off - Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria.\nEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.\nAbout Troon:\nFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
