We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of pickleball operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in pickleball, golf and community management.\nCompensation:\n$25.00 - $37.50 per hour\nGeneral Purpose:\nTeaches various pickleball and tennis programming to our private community, including running clinics, tournaments, and other various programs.\nEssential Duties:\nAssists in supervising play and ensures proper charging of fees, and rental of equipment.\n\nAssists in the promotion of and conducting clinics, special events and programs in an effort to attract and maintain members’ interests.\n\nProvides beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels of players.\n\nEnforces all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment and other property.\n\nProperly represents the club in state or national events as time permits.\n\nWorks cooperatively with other departments to develop combined programs for the membership.\n\nEnsures proper usage and rental of the ball machine.\n\nPerforms racquet stringing.\n\nEnsures proper inspection of the courts/facilities on a daily basis prior to the start of play and ascertain that all necessary maintenance has been performed and the courts are in a safe working order. Reports any maintenance problems to the Department Manager or Maintenance Manager.\n\nMonitors court usage including special events, clinics and lessons.\n\nIncorporates safe work practices in job performance.\n\nRegular and reliable attendance.\n\nPerforms other duties as required.\n\nEducation/Experience:\nAssociate’s degree (AA); and three to five years related experience as a head professional/instruction; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPhysical Demands:\nFrequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks, hears, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Occasionally sits. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.\nEnvironment/Noise:\nFrequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
