This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences, fostering a welcoming and team-oriented environment, and ensuring consistent service standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in developing associates, maintaining operational excellence, and creating memorable experiences for our members and their guests.\nKey Responsibilities\nLeadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and motivate Bistro associates, fostering a positive, accountable, and service-oriented team culture.\nMember Experience: Ensure exceptional, personalized service while building strong relationships with members and their guests.\nDaily Operations: Oversee daily Bistro operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, reservations, service flow, and overall restaurant readiness.\nStaffing & Scheduling: Assist with recruiting, interviewing, training, scheduling, and managing staffing levels to support business needs.\nTraining & Service Standards: Ensure associates understand and consistently deliver Belfair’s hospitality standards, service expectations, and culture.\nFood & Beverage Operations: Partner with the culinary team to coordinate service, menu execution, food quality, presentation, and timely delivery.\nQuality & Compliance: Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, sanitation, and compliance with applicable regulations.\nCommunication & Collaboration: Work closely with culinary leadership and other department managers to ensure seamless operations and a consistent member experience.\nProblem Resolution: Respond professionally to member feedback, service concerns, and associate issues, taking ownership of solutions and following through.\nAdministrative Responsibilities: Assist with payroll and timecard approvals, reporting, inventory controls, and other operational duties as needed.\nQualifications\nPrevious restaurant or food and beverage management experience required.\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.\nA genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest and member experiences.\nAbility to lead by example, develop associates, and hold team members accountable to established standards.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.\nWorking knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, inventory controls, and food safety standards.\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.\nFood safety certification and alcohol service certification, as required.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe are looking for a hands-on leader who understands that great hospitality begins with a great team.
