You will translate the Director's account strategy into execution plans and be accountable for team performance and client retention outcomes. \n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nLead and manage multiple Managers, Key Accounts, ensuring consistent execution of account management strategy across their teams.\n\nAct as the senior escalation point for key client issues that Managers cannot resolve.\n\nOwn retention and upsell/cross-sell targets across the portfolio and report performance against them to the Director.\n\nTranslate the Director's strategic priorities into team-level plans, KPIs, and workflows.\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with the top-tier clients personally, alongside the team's own client coverage.\n\nRepresent Key Accounts in cross-functional discussions (Sales, Marketing, Tech, Operations) where a Manager-level decision isn't sufficient.\n\nReview and approve business proposals, quotations, and contracts prepared by Managers before they go to the Director.\n\nIdentify recurring operational issues across accounts and drive process fixes.\n\nSupport the Director in headcount planning, hiring, and performance reviews for the Key Accounts team.\n\nPrepare consolidated reporting and market/competitor analysis for the Director.\n\nRequirements\n Qualifications : \n\nMinimum 5-8 years of experience in key account management or business operations, with at least 3 years managing managers (not just individual contributors).\n\nTrack record of hitting revenue retention/growth targets through a team, not just individually.\n\nStrong stakeholder management — able to operate with clients, Managers, and the Director without needing hand-holding.\n\nProficiency in CRM software and Google office
