Accounting Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders, with a primary focus on e-commerce order processing.
• Manage EDI invoicing, including processing invoices and troubleshooting invoice errors or rejections
• Support customer billing and general invoicing responsibilities.
• Perform revenue reconciliations and identify or resolve discrepancies.
• Work within ERP and order management systems to support day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing orders, invoices, and financial information.
• Assist with accounting operations projects and process improvements as assigned.
• Balance recurring day-to-day responsibilities with project-based work and changing business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience to the role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, take feedback, and adapt to new processes and systems.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and troubleshoot problems.
• Comfortable working with technology, data, and business systems.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with formulas.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage both routine tasks and projects.

Desired Qualifications:

• College degree or currently pursuing a degree.
• Previous experience with invoicing, billing, order processing, or accounting operations.
• Experience with EDI invoicing, including troubleshooting invoice rejections or errors.
• Experience working with ERP or order management systems.
• Familiarity with Acumatica and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
• Intermediate or advanced Excel skills, including experience using formulas to organize or analyze data.
• Experience with e-commerce order processing.
• Exposure to revenue reconciliation or related accounting processes.
• Interest in using AI, automation, or system integrations to improve efficiency and workflows.
