AML/Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee AML/CFT/CPF compliance and financial crime controls
  
• Manage KYC, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes
  
• Conduct PEP, sanctions, and adverse-media screening
  
• Monitor transactions and investigate suspicious activities
  
• Review and assess customer, partner and business risks
  
• Escalate and report suspicious transactions in line with regulatory requirements
  
• Maintain AML policies, procedures and compliance records
  
• Support regulatory reviews, audits and compliance investigations
  
• Provide compliance reports and recommendations to management
  
• Work with Operations, Finance, Product and other teams to strengthen compliance controls
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
  
• Experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Financial Crime or Risk Management
  
• Strong understanding of Nigerian AML/CFT requirements
  
• Experience with customer due diligence and transaction monitoring
  
• Strong analytical, investigative and documentation skills
  
• Fintech, payments, banking or other regulated financial services experience is an advantage
  
• CAMS, ICA or other relevant compliance certification is an added advantage
