supports the organisation’s strategic objectives.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms.\n Oversee purchase orders for local and foreign supplies, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.\n Develop cost-saving strategies and optimise procurement expenditure.\n Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance.\n Collaborate with relevant departments on demand forecasting and inventory management.\n Ensure compliance with procurement policies, applicable regulations, and company standards.\n Identify supply chain risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.\n Lead, coach, and supervise the procurement team to achieve operational targets.\n Prepare procurement reports, analyse performance data, and recommend improvements.\n Review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\n REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS\n Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\n Minimum of 7 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, with proven team leadership experience.\n Strong knowledge of local and foreign procurement processes.\n Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n Strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.\n High level of integrity and sound professional judgement.\n Knowledge of market trends, supplier management, and relevant procurement regulations.\n Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria or a Supply Chain Management certification is an added advantage.\n Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment HSE is an added
