They will work as part of a crew, operating equipment, preparing materials, maintaining safety standards, and performing pavement marking applications. Expect outdoor work, night shifts, weekends, and travel when needed.\nWe can provide training on operating equipment, but we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.\nJob Responsibilities:\nWork with highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint and other pavement marking materials.\nRead plans and layout roadway markings on state and county roadways.\nPerform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production.\nAdhere to all safety policies and procedures.\nComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms and ensure equipment is in working order.\nPerform maintenance and repair of equipment.\nProperly load material on trucks.\nMaintain proper safety equipment and uniform required for each job.\nYou will be trained to operate different types of equipment, including: Thermoplastic Truck, Paint Truck, Hand Machines, Hand Grinder, Forklift, 3M Hand-Tape Machine, 3M Adhesive Applicator and Hand Roller Tamper Cart.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nSelf-starter with a strong work ethic.\n0-2 years of experience preferred; previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or a related field is a plus.\nMust pass pre-employment background checks for criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing.\nMust have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, a CDL license is preferred.\nKnowledge of local driving rules and regulations.\nCarry out simple arithmetic functions.\nDemonstrate mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanics.\nKnowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology, including smart phones and applications.\nAbility to adjust to changing work schedule.\nPhysical Requirements:\nRegularly lift and move up to 50 pounds to 100 pounds.\nOccasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds.\nRegular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.\nNoise level of the work environment is moderate to loud.\nAvailability:\nMonday - Friday.\nMust be able to work some nights and weekends.\nMust be able to work overtime.\nMust be able to travel when necessary.\nTRP Construction Group, LLC will conduct Background Check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Controlled Substance testing prior to hire.\nTRP Construction Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity in our workforce.
