Designs and implements secure, efficient RESTful and GraphQL APIs with robust documentation and performance. Optimizes application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.\n Systems Integration & Data Management: Integrates banking systems and financial data workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Manages relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with a focus on data integrity and scalability. \nSecurity & Compliance: Implements security protocols including OAuth and JWT. Ensures adherence to financial data protection standards. \nInfrastructure & Observability: Builds and supports containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Configures observability solutions for comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting across applications and infrastructure. \nCollaboration: Works closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers. \nRequired Skills, Experience & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required). \nMinimum 5 years of experience in full stack development and API engineering (required). \nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines (preferred). \nExperience in banking systems, financial services, or fintech platforms (preferred). \nFamiliarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred). \nKnowledge of financial compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2) is an asset. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities. \nAbility to work independently and in team settings. \nCommitment to continuous learning and professional development. \nFull stack development (front-end and back-end). \nAPI design and integration. \nDatabase management. \nSecurity and compliance implementation. \nDisplays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.\nIn accordance with Ontario’s Employment Standards Act, we confirm that no artificial intelligence (AI) tools are used to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.
