requirements\nDevelop electrical interface requirements and specifications for avionics components including flight computers, sensors, actuators, and communication systems\nPerform electrical system analysis including power budgets, voltage drop calculations, fault analysis, and load flow studies to ensure system performance and reliability\nDesign custom avionics hardware including power conditioning units, motor controllers, sensor interface boards, and data acquisition systems for space applications\nCreate detailed electrical schematics, BOMs, and design documentation using industry-standard CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, or similar)\nConduct worst-case circuit analysis, derating studies, and reliability assessments to ensure designs meet space qualification requirements\nDefine and manage electrical interfaces between subsystems including mechanical mounting, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility\nDevelop and execute test plans for electrical system verification including functional testing, environmental qualification, and EMI/EMC testing\nSupport hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, logic analyzers)\nCollaborate with harness design teams to define cable routing, connector specifications, and wire gauge requirements\nPerform trade studies on component selection, architecture alternatives, and design approaches to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost\nSupport integration and test activities including spacecraft-level electrical checkout, continuity testing, and flight readiness verification\nParticipate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) presenting electrical architecture, block diagrams, FMEA results, analysis, and verification status\nCreate and maintain electrical system documentation including ICDs, architecture diagrams, test procedures, analysis reports, and as-built drawings \nQUALIFICATIONS \nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field\n5-10 years of professional experience in electrical system design, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability applications\nStrong fundamentals in circuit design, power electronics, and electrical system architecture\nExperience conducting system-level reliability analysis including FMEA,
