You will work closely with engineers, program managers, and technical teams to ensure that systems meet performance, environmental, and mission-critical requirements. In this role, you will develop test plans, execute tests, collect data, analyze results, and ensure that the systems meet all specifications. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technologies in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. \nRESPONSIBILITIES \nDefine and lead multiple test campaigns for major programs, including requirements verification, procedure development, and execution oversight. \nInterface with program leadership, customers, regulatory bodies, venders, and technicians during design reviews and formal test events. \nAuthor and review test documentation including plans, procedures, readiness reports, and compliance matrices. \nAnalyze test data, lead root cause investigations, resolve anomalies and nonconformance's \nServe as Test Director ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols of test execution and maintaining compliance with all facility requirements throughout testing cycles \nServe as the technical point of contact for internal and external test-related communications. \nEnsure compliance with industry and military standards for test planning and reporting. \nEstablishes standard processes to troubleshoot and safe flight hardware during test anomalies. \nProvides technical support and mentorship to junior engineers. \n\nQUALIFICATIONS \nU.S. Citizenship required. \nBachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field. \nAble to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance. \nDemonstrated experience in safely handling, operating, and testing of flight hardware \nExcellent communication, leadership, and technical documentation skills. \nYears of relevant experience in hardware test (thermal, structural, electromagnetic interference/ compatibility, RF, Fluids, etc.) engineering with continuously evolving requirements. \nCapable of creating training standards for technicians and engineers to safely operate test equipment. \nExperience leading complex test campaigns and multidisciplinary teams. \nStrong background in data analysis, systems engineering, and failure analysis. \nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE \nMaster's or higher degree in relevant engineering field. \nKnowledge of environmental and performance test methodologies and standards. \nExpertise with data acquisition, test automation, and scripting (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB). \nExperience with test standards such as MIL-STD-810, DO-160, or NASA/DoD specs. \nActive Secret or Top Secret clearance. \nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS \nBase Salary: \nTest Engineer 3: $120,000-$160,000 \nSenior Test Engineer: $140,000-$175,000\nEquity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave \nYour actual level and base salary will be determinedon a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience. \nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nWork Location - this a fully onsite position based out of our Long Beach, CA office.\nWork environment -the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.\n Physical demands -the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.\nThis position will be open until it is successfully filled.
