This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who is passionate about ensuring product quality within the software lifecycle, learning automation tooling and collaborating with developers in a fast pace industry. \nThis is a 3 month temporary employment engagement. There is potential to convert to regular employment based on performance and business need.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nExecute manual and automated test cases against a full stack software\nDocument and report software defects within the software lifecycle in Jira\nParticipate in an agile team sprint planning/stand ups\nCollaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and reproduce issues\nAssist in maintaining a growing test repository of manual and automated scripts within Playwright framework\nContinuous contribution to QA standards and testing processes \nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelors degree in computer science or related field/equivalent education\n0-2 years experience in software qa/testing (internships included) \nGeneral understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and Agile processes\nBasic understanding of coding languages (preferred java script) \nFamiliarity with Jira ticketing and Git\nStrong attention to detail and problem solving \nStrong communication skills \nU.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nExposure to automation tooling (playwright/cypress/selenium)\nExperience with API tooling\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (github actions/ jenkins, etc.)\nMotivated to learn and grow within QA industry\nTeam player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset\nAbility to manage time and tasks effectively in a fast paced environment\nFlexible mindset\nCOMPENSATION\nBase Salary: Denver: $70,000; Long Beach: $80,000\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nWork Location -this role will be onsite at either our Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA location, with travel to other sites as needed.\nWork environment -the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.\nPhysical demands -the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.\nThis position will be open until it is successfully filled.
